Zenless Zone Zero Best Agents
Ellen
Ellen is one of the best characters that you can get in Zenless Zone Zero. She has extremely strong DPS and mobility. You can not go wrong with having Ellen on your team. She simply outperforms all the other characters in the game.
Lycaon
Lycaon is the best stunt agent in the game. He will not provide a lot of damage, but his stun is game-changing and will allow your DPS heroes like Ellne to work. Keep in mind that he simply does not deal much damage, so you have to pair him with heroes who will deal an insane amount of damage.
Anby
Anby is a valuable Stung Agen that is extremely good for new players because she is simple to use. She is not the best character in the game when you compare it to ones like Ellen, but she is great for the Stun team thanks to her ability to deal dazzle damage. So if you are a new player, Anby is a solid pick.
Ben
Ben is a defense agent used by players who value survivability over damage. He has a unique ability that blocks and shields templates that increase the survivability of the team. Unfortunately, he is not as great as many players think. The reason you should not use Ben is that his damage output is extremely low and his mobility is slow. There are a lot of better heroes that you can use. You can use him for fun by creating defensive strategies in the late game.
Billy
Billy is a ranged attack agent that a lot of new players use to keep their distance until they learn the game. The problem is that as you progress, his performance gets worse. When you compare him to other characters, you will notice how little damage he does. That is why he is one of the worst characters in the game. So feel free to use him at the start, but replace him as soon as you can so you do not slow down your progression.
Anton
Anton is an electric attack agent that performs decently. He is great for players who want to do short-cycle damage. That is possible because he can additionally trigger shock damage every 5 seconds. The problem with Anton is that he replays on Ex-Special and needs targets to shock. He is the best hero, but you can use him to build some decent teams. There is a chance that he becomes one of the best heroes as content gets implemented in the game.
Corin
Corin is a physical burst DPS character that deals short-cycle burst damage. When compared to the best heroes, you will notice that she doesn’t perform that well, but she is an excellent choice for players who want to save pulls for other characters. You can build some great teams with her, especially for bosses.
Piper
Piper is a versatile anomaly character that is great for building anomaly and boosting team damage. She is a great character, but a lot of players will have problems with her because it is hard to build a team for her. But if you want to use her, then build the Anomaly and Disorder teams.
Nicole
Nicole is a great support hero who provides DEF shredding and the Anomaly application. She is one of the characters that you will get at the start of the game, so you can build a decent team early on. What is great is that you can use her on almost all the teams, so always keep an eye on her.
Lucy
Lucy is an excellent support character who is extremely versatile. What makes her great is her ability to fit into any team composition and her ability to provide damage boosts. Feel free to use her until you get better agents.
Soukaku
Soukaku is a highly versatile ice-type attack support character. The downside of Soukaku is that she has limited options when it comes to teams, and her playstyle is somewhat boring and slow. If you are not a fan of her playstyle, then there are a few other support heroes that you can use, like Lucy.
Koleda
Koleda is a character that has one of the strongest burst stun abilities that allows you to push enemies into a daze. Her daze application and fast stun capabilities make her an excellent choice for teams that are focused on stunning. So if you want to have a lot of control, Koleda is a hero for that.
Nekomata
Nekomata is the fastest-attacking character in the game. What makes her great is her ability to do a lot of AOE damage that will simply delete a group of enemies. She is an easy character to use, and you can implement her in a lot of team compositions. The only downside is that she is extremely weak against single-target enemies.
Rina
Rina is flexible and will provide a lot of buffs that will boost team performance. The downside of Rina is that she does not deal any damage, so you have to be extremely careful when you are building a team for her, like the Anomaly and Hyper Carry teams.
Soldier 11
Soldier 11 is an extremely strong, fiery attack hero. She can be used in anomaly/disorder and stunt-based teams. What is great about Soldier 11 is that she is an extremely easy hero to use and play while dealing an insane amount of damage. This makes her an excellent choice for all new players who are still learning about the game. Just be careful not to get interrupted while dealing damage because it will reduce your overall DPS.
Grace
Grace has an insanely fast shock application, and she is required for the Electric and Disorder teams. The only problem is that you will struggle with using her. It requires a lot of practice to get all of her. So go test and practice playing her.

We made sure that we tested all agents in the best possible condition so we could get the most accurate ratings. As with each test, there are some factors that we cannot control, like skill buffs, debuffs, types of enemies, chance, etc. You do not have to worry about these factors. They are part of the game, so you will come across them the whole time, and overall, they did not impact the tier list rating.
