Reinier is a magic support in AFK Journey. Reinier is part of Hypogen Faction. Rainier’s skill set is designed for manipulation of enemy positions, healing, and damage. This makes him an extremely great hero who performs very well in all game modes and content in AFK.
You can create a lot of different team combos with Reinier that will simply dominate. Rainier’s skill upgrades scale his power a lot. Upgrades boost his control on the map and his supporting power. Keep in mind that to get most of Rainier, you have to position him right so you can benefit from swapping and controlling the map.
- Mutual Reflection: Teleports to another dimension with an enemy.
- Dynamic Balance: Switches an allied hero’s position with an enemy hero if they’re in a symmetrical position when the battle starts.
- Golden Ratio: Deals multiple damage to the enemy and knocks them into the air.
- Hero Focus: Can use Dynamic Balance to either boost an ally’s ATK or lower an enemy’s ATK.
- Taunt Art: Reinier wounds the enemy with Dynamic Balance, the enemy to take more damage while reducing the damage taken by the ally.
- Enhance Focus: Increases the allied hero ‘s ATK if they’re in a symmetrical position with an enemy hero when a battle starts.
- Vanguard’s Bulwark: Grants a shield to the frontmost ally (excluding the caster) when a battle starts.

Reinier Skills
Mutual Reflection
Reinier deals 230% damage to the healthiest enemy hero and transfers with them to another dimension for 10s. Reinier stays on the battlefield if enemy overnumber allies. Reinier won’t transfer the enemy but deal 450% damage if they’re in steadfast control immunity, or the only survived.
Upgrade Preview:
- Level 2: The Mutual Reflection works on an extra enemy if enemy heroes outnumber allies by at least 2. Reduces the duration of transferring this enemy to another dimension to 7s.
- Level 3 : Increases damage dealt to enemy heroes to 250%. The damage is increased to 460% if they’re in stadfast, control immunity, or the only survived.
- Level 4: Increases damage dealt to enemy to 260%. The damage is to 480% if they’re in stadfast, control immunity, or the only survived.
- Level 5: Increases damage dealt to enemy to 270%. The damage is increased to if they’re in stadfast, control immunity, or the only survived.
Dynamic Balance
Reinier prioritizes switching an adjacent allied hero ‘s position with an enemy hero if they’re in a symmetrical position. Whenever the enemy hero takes damage, the allied hero restores HP qual to 45% of the enemy hero ‘s taken damage till a battle ends. The total HP recovery amount by this means is no more than Z in a consecutive 8s.
Upgrade Preview
- Level 2: Restores allied hero’s HP equal to 46% of damage dealt
- Level 3: Restores allied hero’s HP equal to 48% of damage dealt.
- Level 4: Restores allied hero’s HP equal to 50% of damage dealt.
Enhance 1 Level: Reinier increases the allied hero’s ATK by 4% till the battle ends if they’re in a symmetrical position with an enemy hero. (Hero Enhancement Required)
Golden Ratio
Reinier launches a mighty strike against the healthiest enemy hero through the portal, interrupting them and dealing 45% damage 8 times. Afterward, Reinier punches and knocks them up, dealing 120% damage. If the enemy’s HP is above 61.8%, then each hit extra damage equal to 1% of their current HP, up to 20% of ATK.
Upgrade Preview:
- Level 2: Reinier senses satisfaction when each enemy hero’s HP drops below 61.8% for the first time, restoring 200% HP and Energy .
- Level 3 : The damage of each strike is increased to 1.2% of the enemy’s current HP.
- Level 4: Reinier shares satisfaction with allies when each enemy hero ‘s HP drops below 61.8% for the first time, granting all allies 120% HP and 50 Energy.
Hero Focus
Reinier’s Dynamic Balance increases the target’s ATK by 7% when cast on an ally or reduces the target ATK by 7% when cast on an enemy.
Upgrade Preview:
- Level 2 : Reinier’s Dynamic Balance increases the target’s ATK by 10% when cast on an ally or reduces the target ATK by 10% when cast on an enemy.
- Level 3 : Reinier’s Dynamic Balance increases the target’s ATK by 12% when cast on an ally or reduces the target ATK by 12% when cast on an enemy.
Taunt Art
Reinier deals 200% damage to the enemy and knocks them down when casting Dynamic Balance, increasing their damage taken by 25% till the battle ends.
Upgrade Preview:
- Exclusive Skill Level 2: Increases damage dealt to the enemy to 250%.
- Exclusive Skill Level 3: Reduces the position-switched ally’s damage taken by 25% till the battle ends.
- Exclusive Skill Level 4: Increases damage dealt to the enemy to 300%.
Enhance Focus
Reinier increases the allied hero’s ATK by 4% till the battle ends if they’re in a symmetrical position with an enemy hero.
Vanguard’s Bulwark (Season Skill)
Grants a shield to the frontmost ally (excluding the caster), absorbing 340% damage for 4s when a battle starts.

- Level 2: Shield value is increased to 360%. (Unlocks at Season Level 101)
- Level 3: Shield value is increased to 380%. (Unlocks at Season Level 151)
