Korin Guide AFK Journey

Korin is a Warrior in AFK Journey who has magic arms and is skilled at dealing high damage to ranged enemies. Korin is from Lightbearer Faction. Korin is one of the best A-tier heroes that you can get. He is equipped with skills that will deal a lot of damage and skills that will provide defense to the team. He is especially strong in the Dream Realm, where he can output insane amounts of damage.

I am using him a lot, and he comes in clutch all the time with his shield that he puts on the nearest ally. When you are using him, you have to be careful where you position him; otherwise, he will be destroyed very quickly. You can not go wrong by investing in Korin. He is A-tier, so you will be able to ascend him extremely fast.

• Demonseal Spear: Knocks back nearby enemies and immobilizes them
• Defiance Charge: Jumps next to an ally, granting them a shield and dealing true damage to enemies.
• Air Strike: Deals a guaranteed critical strike to enemies 1 tile beyond.
• Hero Focus: Increases Haste during battle.
• Vine Arms: Deals additional true damage to enemies when he and allies heroes cast a certain amount of Ultimates.
• Enhance Force: Korin reduces the 1-tile away enemy’s damage dealt to him.
• Arcane Barrage: Deals extra damage to an enemy after landing multiple normal attack hits.

Korin Skills

Demonseal Spear

Korin sweeps his spear to surrounding enemies within 2 tiles, dealing 70% damage 4 times and immobilizing them for 2s. When the skill hits adjacent enemies, the targets are 1 tile back.

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: Increases immobilize duration to 4s. ( Unlocked at Level 51)
• Level 3: Increases damage to 75%. ( Unlocked at Level 111)
• Level 4: Increases damage to 80%. (Unlocked at Level 171)
• Level 5: Increases damage to 85%. (Unlocked at Level 231)

Defiance Charge

Korin jumps next to the weakest ally, granting both of them a shield that blocks 300% damage for 5s. Korin then dashes to the enemy, dealing 180% true damage. (Unlocked at Level 11)

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: Shield value is increased to 320%. (Unlocked at Level 71)
• Level 3: Increases damage to 200%. (Unlocked at Level 131)
• Level 4: Increases damage to 220%. (Unlocked at Level 191)

Air Strike

Korin deals a guaranteed critical strike to enemies 1 tile beyond. For every 1 percent of his crit rate, his critical damage is increased by 1%. (Unlocked at Level 31)

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: For every 1% of his crit rate, his critical damage is increased by 1.2%. (Unlocked at Level 91)
• Level 3: For every 1% of his crit rate, his critical damage is increased by 1.5%. (Unlocked at Level 151)
• Level 4: For every 1% of his crit rate, his critical damage is increased by 1.6%. (Unlocked at Level 211)

Hero Focus

Increases Haste by 12 during battle.

• Level 2: Increases Haste by 16 during battle.
• Level 3: Increases Haste by 20 during battle.

Vine Arms

When Korin and surrounding allies within 2 tiles cast their Ultimate 3 times in total, Korin’s arms feel nature’s power and enchant his spear with Wilder Magic, dealing additional true damage equal to 2% of the targets’ max HP for 8s with follow-up attacks. The true damage cannot exceed 40% of Kori’s ATK. (Unlock after Exclusive Equipment is activated)

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: Exclusive Equipment: Increases the ATK SPD by 60 during the skill. (Reach Level 5 to unlock).
• Level 3: Exclusive Equipment: Increases the additional true damage to 2.5% of the targets’ max HP. (Reach Level 10 to unlock).
• Level 4: Exclusive Equipment: Increases the additional true damage to 2.8% of the targets’ max HP. (Reach Level 15 to unlock).

Enhance Force

Damage dealt by enemies 1 tile beyond is reduced by 25%.

Arcane Barrage (Season Skill)

Fires an extra projectile after every 3 normal attacks that hit a target, dealing 140% damage to the target.
