Granny Dahnie Guide AFK Journey

Granny Dahnie is a Wilder Tank in AFK Journey who owns Glimmerbloom equipment, can absorb enemies’ Energy, and can reduce enemies’ Haste when taking damage. Granny Dahnie is part of Wilder Faction. Granny Dahnie’s is one of the best tanks that you can get in the game. She is extremely good for new players. What makes her great is her ability to control the enemy and heal the team while tanking all the damage.

She will lock down the enemy team so your DPS heroes can do damage. You can use Granny Dahnie’s with almost all the other heroes. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that she is not that great for bosses in the dream realm because her crowd control skill is useless and she does not have damage. If you are a new player, feel free to max out Granny Dahnie. She is great for PVP and completing story quests.

• Threshold of Jade: Granny Dahnie summons Parasitic Grass to immobilize the enemies in range, absorb their HP and reduce their Energy. She is immune to control effects during the effect.
• Seed Cannon: When any enemy deals a certain amount of total damage to Granny Dahnie, she attacks them back with Parasitic seeds, reducing their Haste.
• Angry Taunt: Granny Dahnie taunts an enemy and recovers HP.
• Hero Focus: Granny Dahnie ‘s Vitality increases during battle. She gains extra Vitality while casting Threshold of Jade.
• Glimmerbloom Blessing: When Granny Dahnie’s HP is low, she gains Phys DEF, Magic DEF, and recovers HP.
• Enhance Force: Granny Dahnie recovers HP when shooting seeds using Seed Cannon.
• Lock-on Projectiles: Deals extra damage when inflicting control effects on the target for a specific duration.

Granny Dahnie Skills

Threshold of Jade

Granny Dahnie summons Parasitic Grass within 2 tiles for 3s. Every second, enemies within range cannot move or act and lose 25 Energy and at least 60% HP. The total amount of their lost HP is 130% of Granny Dahnie. Granny Dahnie also recovers an equal amount of HP. She is immune to control effects while Parasitic Grass exists.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: The total amount of their lost HP is increased to 140% of Granny Dahnie, and each enemy’s minimum HP loss is increased to 65% of Granny Dahnie. (Unlocked at Level 51)
• Level 3: The Energy loss per second of enemies in range is to 35. (Unlocked at Level 111)
• Level 4: The total amount of their lost HP is increased to 150% of Granny Dahnie, and each enemy’s minimum HP loss is increased to 70% of Granny Dahnie. (Unlocked at Level 171)
• Level 5: The total amount of their lost HP is increased to 160% of Granny Dahnie, and each enemy’s minimum HP loss is increased to 75% of Granny Dahnie. (Unlocked at Level 231)

Seed Cannon

When an enemy deals total damage equal to of 15% Granny Dahnie’s max HP to her, Granny Dahnie shoots Parasitic Seeds at this enemy, dealing 120% damage and reducing their Haste by 40 for 6s. (Unlocked at Level 11)

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: Reduces the enemy’s Haste by 50. (Unlocked at Level 71)
• Level 3: Reduces the enemy’s Haste by 55 (Unlocked at Level 131)
• Level 4: Reduces the enemy’s Haste by 60. (Unlocked at Level 191)

Angry Taunt

Granny Dahnie taunts an enemy for 3s and instantly recovers 140% HP. This skill prioritizes the enemy who targets the weakest ally. (Unlocked at Level 31)

• Level 2: Granny Dahnie recovers 150% HP. (Unlocked at Level 91)
• Level 3: Granny Dahnie recovers 160% HP. (Unlocked at Level 151)

Granny Dahnie her Vitality by 11 during battle. She gains an extra 3 Vitality while Threshold of Jade.

• Level 2: Granny Dahnie increases her Vitality by 15 during battle. She gains an extra 4 Vitality while casting Threshold of Jade.

Glimmerbloom Blessing

When Granny Dahnie’s HP ratio is lower than 50% the Glimmerbloom Shield grows bigger, increasing her Phys DEF by 50% and Magic DEF by and recovering 100% HP every second. The skill lasts 12s and can be cast once every battle. (Unlock after Exclusive Equipment is activated)

• Level 2: Exclusive Equipment: Recovers 105% HP every second. (Reach Level 5 to unlock).
• Level 3: Exclusive Equipment: Gains control immunity during the skill. (Reach Level 10 to unlock).
• Level 4: Exclusive Equipment: Recovers 110% HP every secon. (Reach Level 15 to unlock).

Enhance Force

Granny Dahnie recovers 120 HP when shooting seeds using Cannon.

Lock-on Projectiles (Season Skill)

Shoots a projectile at the target for every 2s your control effects last on that target, dealing 120% damage.
