Cassadee Guide AFK Journey

Cassadee is a Mage in AFK Journey who is skilled at dealing AOE damage and imbuing buffs to allies. Cassadee is part of Lightbearer Faction. Cassadee is a decant mage hero who has crowd control, damage, and buffs for allies. We do not recommend that you use Cassadee until she gets buff.

The problem with her is that she is a ranged hero, which must be at the back line, but her ultimate and Ex Skill need her to be in the front line because the range is extremely small. Also, for her to deal damage, the battle must be long. If you put her in front, she will die. Overall, only use her for Dream Realm, where you can put her closer and the battle is long, so she is able to buff the team and deal damage.

• Running Tide: Knocks back and deals damage to enemies in a straight line.
• Undercurrent: Deals a lot of damage to an enemy.
• Tidal Strength: Blesses an ally. When the ally’s normal attacks hit an enemy, she deals additional damage to them.
• Hero Focus: Haste increases during battle, and it further increases while the initial ally blessed by Tidal Strength is alive.
• Tidal Blessing: Running Tide grants allies along the way the blesses of Tidal Strength temporarily.
• Enhance Force: Reduces the enemy’s Magic DEF for a while with Running Tide.
• Energy Surge: Continuously restores Energy from the start of a battle until the first Ultimate is cast.

Cassadee Skills

Running Tide

Cassadee invokes a 3-tile-wide wave, dealing 280% damage to all enemies on the path and them back for 2 tiles.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: Increases damage to 300%. ( Unlocked at Level 51)
• Level 3: Reduces targets’ Magic DEF by 20% for 10s. ( Unlocked at Level 111)
• Level 4: Increases damage to 320%. (Unlocked at Level 171)
• Level 5: Increases damage to 340%. (Unlocked at Level 231)

Undercurrent

Cassadee produces a water column underneath an enemy, dealing 240% damage and stunning them for 1.5s. (Unlocked at Level 11)

Upgrade Preview
Level 2: Increases damage to 260%. (Unlocked at Level 71)
Level 3: Increases damage to 280%. (Unlocked at Level 131)
Level 4: Increases damage to 300%. (Unlocked at Level 191)

Tidal Strength

Cassadee selects the nearest ally when a battle starts, granting them the blessing of Tidal Strength. She deals extra magic damage that equals 60% ATK to the enemy when the blessed ally hits them with normal attacks. The blessing vanishes after the above effect is triggered 9 times. Cassadee will bless this ally again after 9s, which can’t be dispelled.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: Increases Increases the additional damage to 70% of ATK.. (Unlocked at Level 91)
• Level 3: Cassadee reselects the nearest ally to grant blessing after the previously blessed ally is defeated. The blessing casting cooldown is reduced to 5s. (Unlocked at Level 151)
• Level 4: Increases the additional damage to 80% of ATK.. (Unlocked at Level 211)

Hero Focus

Cassadee increases her Haste by 12 during battle. She gains an extra 2 Haste while the first ally blessed by Tidal Strength in battle is alive.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2 : Cassadee increases her Haste by 15 during battle. She gains an extra 4 Haste while the first ally blessed by Tidal Strength in battle is alive.
• Level 3 : Cassadee increases her Haste by 18 during battle. She gains an extra 6 Haste while the first ally blessed by Tidal Strength in battle is alive.

Tidal Blessing

Running Tide grants all allied heroes on the path a temporary buff, empowering their next 6 normal attacks with the effect of Tidal. (Unlock after Exclusive Equipment is activated)

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: Exclusive Equipment: Extends the attempt of Tidal Strength effect obtained from this skill to 8 times. (Reach Level 5 to unlock).
• Level 3: Exclusive Equipment: When an enemy takes damage from Tidal Strength 6 times, they will be hit by Undercurrent once immediately. (Reach Level 10 to unlock).
• Level 4: Exclusive Equipment: Extends the attempt of Tidal Strength effect obtained from this skill to 9 times.. (Reach Level 15 to unlock).

Enhance Force

Cassadee reduces the Magic DEF of enemies hit by Running Tide by 20% for 10s.

Energy Surge (Season Skill)

Recovers 3 Energy every 90s after a battle starts until the first Ultimate is cast.

• Level 2: Increases Energy recovery to 95 (Unlocks at Season Level 101)
• Level 3: Increases Energy recovery to 100 (Unlocks at Season Level 151)
• Level 4: Increases Energy recovery to 105 (Unlocks at Season Level 201)
