Berial Guide AFK Journey

Berial is a magic Rogue in AFK Journey. Berial is part of Hypogen Faction.Berial is a hero that is only good in PVP. In other parts of the game, he is extremely bad, considering how rare and hard it is to get him. His skills allow him to jump around and focus the backline, so he can deal well against healers and supporters. If he dies and then the enemy hero dies, Berial will come back to life. We do not recommend that you invest in Berial, considering how rare he is to get and that he is simply designed to be annoying to the enemy. There are other heroes that will give you much better value.

• Scared Swamp: Hides within the shadow and follows the target, dealing damage to the target and absorbing Energy continuously, during which he becomes Invincible. Then he jumps out to damage and frighten adjacent enemies.
• Shadow Trick: Hides within the shadow. If isolated enemies exist, he moves toward the targets and deals damage. Otherwise, restoring HP continuously within the shadow and returning to his original tile.
• Devil’s Contract: Hides within the shadow for a while after being defeated. Upon a non-summoned enemy is taken down, he will revive from the vanquished enemy and restore a certain amount of HP.
• Hero Focus: Reduces the damage dealt by an isolated enemy and increases the damage they take.
• Shadow Reflection: If non-summoned enemies remain isolated for a while, they will generate a Silhouette that loses its HP over time and can only deal damage by normal attacks.
• Enhance Force: Increases the hiding duration after being defeated.
• Combo: Deals bonus damage to targets after the Ultimate.

Berial Skills

Scared Swamp

Berial flies beneath the enemy, hiding within their shadow and dealing 36% damage every 0.25s, absorbing 15 Energy, lasting up to 5s. Berial gains control immunity and cannot be targeted during the effect Then he jumps out from the shadow, dealing 320% damage to adjacent enemies and them for 4s.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: Deals 38% damage to enemies every 0.25s when hiding in the shadow.
• Level 3: Deals 40% damage to enemies every 0.25s when hiding in the shadow.
• Level 4: Deals 42% damage to enemies every 0.25s when hiding in the shadow.
• Level 5: Deals 45% damage to enemies every 0.25s when hiding in the shadow.

Shadow Trick

Berial hides within the shadow, during which he gains control immunity and cannot be targeted. If isolated enemies exist, Berial moves towards isolated every target one by one, dealing 300% damage. Otherwise, he hides in the shadow, recovering 300% HP in total, then returning to his original tile.

Upgrade Preview

• Level 2: Increases the damage dealt to the isolated targets to 310%.
• Level 3 : Increases the damage dealt to the isolated targets to 320%.
• Level 4: Increases the damage dealt to the isolated targets to 350%.

Devils Contract

Berial hides within the shadow for 10s after being defeated. However, during which, if a non-summoned enemy is taken down, Berial will revive from the vanquished enemy and return to the battlefield with 40% of his max HP. This effect can only be triggered once per battle.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2: Increases Berial’s restored HP to 45% of his max HP after revival.
• Level 3: Increases Berial’s restored HP to 50% of his max HP after revival.
• Level 4: Increases Berial’s restored HP to 60% of his max HP after revival.

Enhance 1 Level : Berial increases the duration hidden in shadow by 10s after being defeated.(Hero Enhancement Required)

Hero Focus

Berial reduces the damage dealt by an isolated enemy by 6% and increases their damage taken by 3%.

Upgrade Preview:

• Level 2 : Berial reduces the damage dealt by an isolated enemy by 8% and increases their damage taken by 4%.
• Level 3 : Berial reduces the damage dealt by an isolated enemy by 10% and increases their damage taken by 5%.

Shadow Reflection

If non-summoned enemies remain isolated for over 3s, they lose 180 Energy and generate a Silhouette that inherits 50% of Berial’s ATK, HP, and 100% of other stats. The Silhouette loses 8% of its max HP per second. This effect can only be triggered once on the same target within 20s, and the Silhouette only damage by normal attacks.

Upgrade Preview:

• Exclusive Skill Level 2: The Silhouette inherits 70% of Berial’s ATK and HP.
• Exclusive Skill Level 3: Enemies lose 40 Energy when they receive damage from the Silhouette.
• Exclusive Skill Level 4: The Silhouette inherits 80% Berial’s ATK and HP.

Enhance Focus

Increases the hiding duration after being defeated by 10s.

Combo (Season Skill)

After casting the Ultimate, deals 125% damage to the current target with each of the next 4 skill casts or normal attacks.
